Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad met with President Assad and senior Palestinian officials in Damascus including Hamas chief Khaled Mashaal as well as Islamic Jihad Secretary General Ramadan Shallah.

Iranian President, Hezbollah Chief join Syrian President for dinner following series of meetings with Hamas leader Mashaal. They discussed the threat of Israel in Middle east. Ziad Nahla and Ahmed Jibril of Palestinians resistence faction were also present in Damascus war council. Nasrallah said Israel is weak and is incapable of starting a war. Ahmadinejad told the leaders that Israel's behaviour shows that is moving closer to collapse.
