US in trouble both in Iraq and in Afghanistan

NATO trained Afghan soldiers are killing British and American troops in their bases.
Obama has set the date for retreat from Afghanitan as 2011. Its forces are set to withdraw from Iraq in Nov 2010. But US does not have a leader that Washington wanted in Baghdad.
Iraq is not even forming a government until U.S. pulls out. Afghanitan has Karzai but US knows that Taliban will hang him the day U.S. leaves. World superpower is manifestly out of its depths.
Its a big mess. What do to.
The way out is clear and simple. But will Washington ever take the easy road. We dont think so. With two easy strategies, U.S. can, without more bloodshed, clean up Afghanistan as well win Middle East which, 10 years after 9/11, is bursting at with extremists. It seems that the Pentagon has failed to shock and awe the terroists.
